Result: The Roadhouse Flair Heats Freestyle Competition

Throughout the year, up until November, you can enjoy a Roadhouse Flair heat every month. These heats act as qualification for the biggest flair bartending event of the year, the Roadhouse Grand Finals, as well as providing a great opportunity for bartenders to get on the Roadhouse stage, try out some new moves, or win a little bit of money! We kicked off the year with the Multi-Object competition in January, where our current Grand Slam World Champion Deniss Trifanovs took first place. Following it up in February was the Freestyle competition, here is what went down…

The Freestyle competition at the Roadhouse is great fun as it is unlike any other flair competition at the Roadhouse. Each competitor has 4 minutes and at the start of their performance they will pick from a bag which has a number of different music genres in it. They must pick two genres, for example house and rock, during the 4 minutes only songs from these genres will be played and the competitors must come up with a routine as they go along (hence freestyle). All competitors will be judged on both the level of their flair and their entertainment value

Now for the results…

The Result

In a tightly fought contest bartender Michael Moreni (@michaelflaironepiece) came out on top, achieving his highest ever finish at a Roadhouse competition! Congratulations to Michael. Long time professional bartenders Flavius Lupu and Oliver Deak claimed 2nd and 3rd place respectively. With Bryan Levato, Pietro Monaco and Kristof Vandenabeele achieving 4th-6th place.
