India, welcome to the WFA Grand Slam Tournament

That’s right ladies and gentleman, the WFA Grand Slam Tournament is coming to one of the world’s most amazing countries – India! Taking place in Mumbai on the 14th and 15th of October Dream Flair 2018 will be the first WFA Grand Slam in India, ever. We are excited to see what the team at Flairology will put together and to see what the region’s bartenders have to offer. Taking place in conjunction with the popular Mixology Flair Camp, hosted by Flairology bar school in Mumbai, bartenders who venture out to Mumbai for this Grand Slam comp will have the option to take part in lots of different activities.

This represents a fantastic chance for any bartenders in the region who don’t have the time or money to travel to many of the flair bartending competitions that take place throughout Europe, therefore Dream Flair is also a great opportunity to secure your first WFA Purple Level or Black Level (Black level is awarded to 1st-3rd in a WFA Grand Slam, whereas Purple is awarded to 4-6th).

One thing is for sure, a new WFA Grand Slam tournament means another opportunity to secure those valuable Grand Slam Tournament points and climb up the global leaderboard. With only 3 months left in this year’s tournament every opportunity to score counts, particularly for the likes of our current World Champion Marek Posluszny and our current leader, Deniss Trifanovs. After taking victory at Skilled Flairbartender in Mexico Deniss Trifanovs is on a bit of a roll and was able to open up a bit of a lead on Marek – with Marek not yet confirmed for this next stop on the Grand Slam Tournament in India, could we see Deniss open up an unassailable lead…
