Ladies and Gentlemen.
The “Cambridge Cocktail Weekend WFA Grand Slam ” competition will be held on 24th & 25th August 2017 at “The Cambridge Cocktail Weekend“ at Cambridge Corn Exchange, 2 Wheeler St, Cambridge CB2 3QB. “Cambridge Cocktail Week WFA Grand Slam 2017” is a part of World Flair Association’s Grand Slam 2017.

We are also planning a smaller “showcase/competition” on Sunday 26th in the same venue. Watch this space.
CCWGS 2017 will have a qualification round and the finals. Time limit is 3 minutes for the qualification round and 6 minutes for the finals. In the heats each bartender will make at least one cocktail (to be confirmed) and in the finals each bartender will make their own creation cocktail.
The heats will be on the Friday and the Finals the Saturday night.
Drinks can be made in any order.
RULES IN BRIEF
HEATS – 3 minutes
- Set cocktils will be made in the heats. These are to be confirmed when we have final sponsors confirmed. They will contain FABBRI.
- Every bartender will have to perform a #FABBRIFLIP – This is a move with a FABBRI product. There will be a prize.
FINALS – 6 minutes
- Each bartender will have to make their own creation cocktail which will include FABBRI and maybe one other procduct.
- The category of cocktail you will product is a long drink. This is a cocktail over ice (any kind of ice) in a tall glass.
TOP TIP – The competition is set on a BIG stage with a fantastic sound a lighting system that will be put into use for your introductions and outros. As it is such a big stage it is important that you make your flair as visual as possible. You need to be able to grab the audience’s attention with your performance.
