This new competition (IDMC 2018) invites the participating countries to compete against other countries in a team consisting of the President/Representative, 1 Rookie (up to the age of 27) and a Flair Bartender.
The classic part of the competition is mixed by the Rookie from the respective country. He/She submits a drink (see rules attached) and mixes it on the stage.
The Flair Bartender also submits a drink and creates it incl. working flair and exhibition flair on the stage.
The President acts as team leader. The President will also perform the nosing test. The Rookie and Flair Bartenders from the countries also take part equally in the other areas of the competition. The German Bartenders‘ Union realises the German Championship in Flair Bartending parallel to the competition. The points achieved are added together and one country wins.
