Requirements
Grand Slam events are very prestigious and truly International which gives organisers something extra to offer and competitors are more inclined to travel to far-flung places to compete for the Grand Slam championship title. All of the Grand Slam events are open to all competitors.
-
Any organiser can apply to be part of the Grand Slam but unfortunately there can only be one Grand Slam event per country as decided by the Governing Body and it's Directors. The bigger the competition, the more likely it will be picked to part of the Grand Slam.
-
WFA must approve all rules & regulations in order for the competition to be elligable.
-
The WFA scoring system must be used regardless of the rules & regulations.
-
We recommend Finest Call products to be used in your competition along with a Finest Call Stall which has become very popular in the past few year's with bartenders coming up with a variety of ways in which to stall the familiar Finest Call container. Finest Call products will be arranged to be present at your event through local distributors. The Finest Call logo must be present and visible for the duration of the competition.
-
The Piazza logo must be present and visible for the duration of the competition.
-
A Doimo flair bar must be used for the competition or at least have the doimo flair logo present at all times throughout the competition.
-
The WFA logo must clearer visible on all point of sale for the competition including all merchandise, banners, flyers and anything else related to the competition.
-
There must be at least one WFA judge at every competition on the Grand Slam. The judges present will then provide training and guidance to any non WFA certified judges before the event. Before every competition there must be time set aside for the judges training to ensure a high standard throughout the competition.
