SKYY Vodka is searching for the world’s hottest flair bartender and as the Challenge enters its third year, it’s clear that this has become one of the most sought-after titles for bartenders across the globe. This year, SKYY Vodka will invite the most talented bartenders from five continents to battle it out to see who will be competing in the SKYY Flair Global Challenge Final in Shanghai in October.

Competitors from more than 14 countries will first have to compete on their home soil, going head to head with the finest flair bartenders from their own country. The winners from these national competitions will then get the chance to exhibit their skills in front of an international crowd in the buzzing surroundings of Shanghai. The public meanwhile will have the opportunity to see exactly what flair bartending is all about, in the company of the very best.

In 2007, Christian Delpech, originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and now living and working in Las Vegas, USA, was crowned the first-ever SKYY Flair Global Challenge Champion after he beat 16 of the world’s top bartenders in front of Monaco’s glamorous party crowd. In 2008 Mitsuhiro Kaneshiro from Japan defeated over eighteen competitors to earn himself the prestigious title. This year’s challenge looks set to be even better and is certain to attract the world’s best talent.
